Paul Coridor, ScotiaMcLeod Insurance Consultant
Paul is a ScotiaMcLeod insurance consultant in British Columbia. He provides an
innovative approach in determining insurance solutions that your specific goals for
building, preserving and protecting wealth.
Paul entered the financial services industry in 1970 with a major life insurance company. During the following 27 years he worked with his personal clients and managed a sales staff and regional office. In the 7 years prior to joining ScotiaMcLeod Paul managed the Individual Financial Services, Vancouver branch, for an international life insurance company.
Since joining ScotiaMcLeod in 1997, he has worked with advisors in insurance solutions as well as assisting in the financial and estate planning process. He is an active member of CAIFA and the Estate Planning Council of Vancouver.
Stephen Belch, ScotiaMcLeod Insurance Consultant
Stephen has worked in the life and health insurance industry since 1988. Before joining ScotiaMcLeod in 2007, he worked in a variety of areas of insurance, including group life and health underwriting, human resources development, and special risk (snowbird travel) insurance at Crown Life. Stephen also set up and managed insurance telemarketing at CIGNA Life, was a sales agent for Equitable Life and an Estate Planning Consultant and Agency Nominee for Assante Estate and Insurance Services Inc. Stephen provides hands-on consulting skills and promotes the professional application of risk management solutions in financial planning. He also sit on the Insurance Council of BC in his second three-year term as a non-voting member.
Jamie Wilson, ScotiaMcLeod Insurance Associate
Jamie Wilson has several years experience in the life and living benefits insurance industry. Jamie uses his in depth knowledge of term life and living beneft insurance products to provide clients with solutions for managing risk.
Malcom Burrows, Financial Consultant, Charities and Gift Planning"
Malcolm leads philanthropic advisory services at the Scotia Private Client Group, where he advises clients on tax and philanthropic aspects of giving. Prior to joining SPCG in 2004, Malcolm worked in the charitable sector as a charitable gift planner for 13 years. He is a well-known speaker and writer on gift planning, and as a government relations volunteer, he has contributed to new tax rules for gifts of public securities and donation tax shelters.
Joseph Taylor
Joseph has been with the Scotiabank Group since July 2005 and has over thirty years of estate planning experience. Joseph holds the Member, Trust Institute designation and has completed the Canadian Securities Course, through the Canadian Securities Institute. He is also a member of the Victoria Estate Planning Council
