In 1985, I moved to Victoria from the community of Kimberley, B.C. to pursue an electrical engineering degree at the University of Victoria. Prior to entering the financial services industry in 2006, I enjoyed a successful career in the technology sector with Power Measurement, a local technology firm. As an elected director of the company’s Employee Venture Capital Corporation, I looked after the ownership interests of employees who held shares in the company. The experience and years of successfully managing my own investments lead me to develop a passion for helping others with their investments and financial planning.
As your Investment Advisor, you can expect professionalism, trust and integrity with an outstanding level of personal service. I provide superior customized financial solutions and guidance with a wide range of independent investment products.
I currently serve on the board of the Keating Out of School Care Society and I am chair of the UVIC Engineering Alumni Chapter. Previously I have served on the boards of the UVIC Alumni Association and the James Bay Child Care Society.
I am married with one child. My main outside interests are: family, skiing, photography, and I am a fan of Apple products.
Joanne is a tremendous help to Doug and his clients. If you have any questions about your statement, cheques, documents, or other correspondence, or would like to book an in-person or telephone appointment, Joanne is the one to call. Her office hours are from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Joanne is a graduate of the University of Victoria with a degree in Economics and a minor in Commerce and Finance.
Joanne's outside interests include fitness, baking, camping, and fishing with her family.
We provide one hour free parking passes for any of the City of Victoria Parkades. The most convenient is the View Street Parkade. You can access our facility from an entrance on 736 View Street - just be sure to walk through the corridor to the Yates Street entrance before taking the elevator.
